Agree on this our controls are 6" above the floor on our chasson Allegro 97, very poor location for them,on our hands and knees to check controls also torch needed to view, but we have just moved temp control knob to new position,so we can view from a standing position,leaving power selection switch in original position, this is usually set to gas as we rarely use mains. we now only have to set heating and hot water source,it has taken 8 years to correct this as each trip involed getting out manual,torch, then on our knees to check controls

We have the same van. The controls are in a ridiculous position aren't they. Just out of interest where have you moved the temp control to?
