Truma CP plus on new Hymer Exsis

I am quoting this from memory. But I am fairly certain the the gas heating on our previous Exsis used to come with a gas roar when switched on, but the the gas flame used to go quieter and quieter as the selected temperature was reached. So that it ran very quiet as the temperature was maintained.

On the new Exsis, the heating works like an old fashioned home central heating system with a thermostat switching the boiler full on or off to maintain the temperature.

Is that how it should be?

Of course, having asked the question, today the heating worked as I thought it should.

But, thank you to anybody spending time to think about it.
