Hi all, the above control panel on my mo- home frequently turns off when the temperature is hot inside. Which is a problem during the summer when all the settings are lost several times a day. Hopefully somebody out there may have had the same problem and knows the answer.:sym:

Double check as it can and does shut the 12v control panel down if it looks like its over charging? If you can switch it off, try it first to see if then the power gets shut down again. Its quite possible its the controller at fault? There have been a number on here us too to be honest , who have had similar issues.
There will someone else who can add more i am sure shortly.
What is the panel type? Which Truma version? Is it a Sargent Charger by any chance?

Hi Kev, yes it's a Sergeant charger, and the panel is a Truma CP plus.
Hope this helps.

I Think it will be the Solar fighting with the Vans system. Mine was exactly the same. Changed the solar controller and on the advice of Sargent put a ON/ Off switch into the main pos lead from the solar panel to the controller. Not had any issues since. Look on this site and ask for solar problems and system shut down...you will find quite a few.
When you are on hook up...the Sargent sees the solar controller and either works with it or dont! Changed mine twice ! Went eventually for another Controller at the end and paid dear but also fitted the switch so as I can switch the solar coming in, off , whilst on EHU . The rest they say is History. All is fine now but it was a bit of a head scratcher to be honest.
Hope that helps a littel?

Regards Kev;)(y)
