Hello,
I’m part way through my campervan conversion and have had a Truma Combi 6e fitted as far as the vent and exhaust duct attachment. However, where the vent has been placed it means the exhaust duct is too far out of where the seating area is going to be to hide it. I’ve contacted Truma and they’ve said they don’t have shorter exhaust duct.

Reaching out to see if anyone has any ideas for a workaround, would be greatly appreciated! I’ve attached a photo to so it’s easier to see.

No expert but it looks like its a flexible pipe so just push the unit in a bit (may need to move it along in case it kinks) or maybe just shorten it?

Are you saying you want to move the heater back towards the side of the van, if so I can't see what the problem is.

It’s not flexible, although looks like it in the photo. It has metal at each side to connect to the Truma and vent, assuming that’s all the way through the hose so not very flexible at all. I’m thinking it could be shortened, although in guessing that means the warranty would be void.

So it was already bent to that shape when you bought it?

Looks cut to length to me,maybe that was the shortest they could manage?

The exhaust/inlet flue of the boiler can just be cut down to length.

It's normal to cut them to length, how do you think manufacturers cope with fitting in different locations.
I don't mean to be rude but if you can't work out how to or are worried about cutting it down I don't think you should be installing gas appliances.

Yes the flue can be cut to length and off the top of my head the minimum length is 600 mm but check the manufacturers instructions.
