Broken most bits now
Has anyone else noticed that Truma have phased out replacement heating elements for the Combi?

You now have to buy a Heating Exchange kit for £475!

Or have I misunderstood this! (I hope so).
At least they're reduced from £612.99 😂😂

That’s shocking. I don’t think mine are working that well, was going to do a descale when back home.
They're not in the water. They're on the outside of the heating chamber. They are on the combi 6e.

I have just replaced both elements in my Truma. Watch Robs Wise Ways on YT.

£475 buys a lot of refillable gas. Just don’t bother with electric, boilers work better on gas anyway.

In the pevious MH, replaced the elements twice.
First time could buy just the elements, second time was the kit at circa £300

One thing I found which probably led to early failure of the first lot could have been,
1, support plate for the core had flattened presumably due to pothole shocks.
2, the core aluminium fins that the elements pass through had enlarged so were not in close contact with the heater element, possible localised over heating.
