Hi all
I have a 2011 Bessacarr with a truma combi E4 boiler. I've searched you tube and forums but this model/age does not have a panel to show error codes etc. which most reports are geared towards.
If I try to put the heating on, using gas only, all looks ok to begin with. The dial shows yellow light while it heats up, then the light goes off and the heating is blowing warm.
This only lasts for around 1 hour, before the dial turns red and the heating works no longer.
All works ok when on electric. We are looking to try a few places with no EHU but this is putting us off.
I've tried the gas only heating option a few times now but always the same, starts ok but then stops after an hour or so.
Gas to cooker and fridge is fine.
Any help appreciated, many thanks as always.

How old is your gas regulator?

Sounds like you aren’t getting enough gas through

Hi, regulator was changed 3 years ago, about 10,000 miles ago.
Its quite a cheap option to change again if you think it may be at fault,
Thanks

It is very often the regulator as the boiler requires far more gas than anything else. A spare reg isn’t a bad thing to have on board anyway.

I was thinking the regulator should last more than 3 years as the original was on for 9 years. Although we did change from the original crash safe regulator to a standard truma mono control regulator. As it happens, I did buy a spare. Is it something I can change over myself, always nervous about gas lol.
Thanks
