Dear Funsters, receiving very little technical support from Truma about issues we are having with a brand new Truma Combi 6DE. So asking for your help. Unit has not worked correctly from the start, however the video attached shows it once we removed from the vehicle to bench test. Not sure it is camp site friendly!! At the point of taking the video there were no error codes. The heater shut down, the panel said it was working perfectly! We have also bench tested with full 1m length of straight flue. Same issues. Truma agreed to bench test it at their workshop and we were led to believe we would receive a detailed report. The boiler was returned to us with a note: no fault found, and all working correctly. The issue will be installation/flue orientation or fitment. No phone call to say it was being returned or follow up support. We have bench tested it again our end, it worked fine for 30 mins, we shut it down and restarted. Same issues, although this time we are getting fault codes E545H and E551H. We have used fuel from vehicle and also fresh diesel. We have used the battery from the vehicle which is almost new and also another new battery. The above faults occur with 1m flue, if we swap to a 600mm flue (which is what is needed in the vehicle) it does not run at all.
Any ideas? Very disappointed that Truma have not been more proactive with technical support.
Vehicle due to go on skiiing trip shortly, need to resolve!
Thank you in advance for any guidance.

These latest units Truma are using are not fit for purpose, but not sure what the actual problem is ? We are having our new van built shortly and our converter is fitting the old Gen 1 model because of all the problems with the new stuff. Have heard their customer service is shocking as you suggest and they are dragging their heels for getting a solution to all the problems. Sorry for your woes. 😕
