Hello,

My room sensor appears to be measuring an incorrect temperate - it's consistently (according to the iNet app) reading 5C cooler than the real room temperature.

I have a normal room thermometer located at the same place as the button thermistor so it not a positional difference.

I've replace the room sensor and still get the same 5C difference.

Additionally I've checked the resistance on the sensor (the value should be 15 °C – 16.2 kOhm / 20 °C – 12.6 kOhm / 25 °C – 10.0 kOhm) and this is correct.

I have an occasional 621 error - which clears - the Truma say check the sensor (done) / cable.

Any assistance / thoughts would be appreciated!

Ours is fitted above the hab door, and I don't rely on it being that accurate, I tried using the offset +- etc, but like you we have a digital room stat which we use and turn the heating control to 21C to start with and adjust up or down until we are comfortable.
It doesn't help that I am normally in & out the van a lot to get stuff from the garage, or put stuff back in there.
Sorry cant help with Thermistor resistance, hopefully someone will know, if not I would give Truma Tech a call maybe.

I was aware of the offset adjustment on the panel and this helps, but the iNet still reports the temperature as 5C too low regardless of the offset.

The water temperature without water and without the heating or hot water, reports the correct ambient temperature.

Maybe the room sensor is just inaccurate?

They just don't work properly!! After we bought our Vantage 2 years ago we wondered why ours seemed so inaccurate, and I asked the Vantage forum members if it was a known problem with the Truma sensor. Most people said they were inaccurate. Just ignore it!

I put a negative offset on mine as the sensor is above the door and its spot on for the temperature in the centre of the lounge.

If you know it is inaccurate to 5oC too low just adjust the setting to compensate!
Ie turn heating up a bit more.!
