Truma boiler water vent not closing

Just about to go on our trip to Scotland Today just filled the water tank and flushing the air out of the water system .

Water pump is fine , all winterize valves closed , boiler switched on , but water is pissing out of boiler vent valve under van .It stops when water pump is off other wise main water tank drains out as well .

Currently I have hot air in van from heater vents but cant pressurise the water system at all.....


Any ideas , last time this happened the boiler warmed up and the boiler closed its valve automatically and then all the taps pressurised with cold and then hot water took about 10 minutes ,, but this time its not working ????

You might need to peg or tie the dump valve closed as a temporary measure. It is there to protect the boiler from frost and can dump at temperatures below 5°

In my boiler the Blue dump valve is accessable but the black one is not its inside the actual boiler and not accessable

Its now fixed ,, seems it needs time to warm up ??????

I now have water pressure at taps and warm water from boiler and its not dumping .

Ive got my fingers crossed everything works when i fill back up for our trip in just over a weeks time ,I might do it a few days early depending on how cold it is,

My wife wants to appear in a episode of ''Ice Road rescue '' or ''Winter road rescue '' Scotland ha ha thats why we have to go there in the depth of winter .....
