Had a new starter battery fitted in August. As we have a tracker fitted there is an app that gives us the battery condition / voltage. It runs down from 13.9 volts to 12 volts in about a week unless we use the moho. Battery has been tested and is fine. Is there an advantage of fitting a trickle charger and if so, any recommendations of makes? Would it be ok to plug in the trickle charger to a moho plug socket as we keep the leisure batteries charged via mains hook up and roof mounted solar panel?

Although I have never had one I believe a b2b charger keeps both starter and L batts charged
You could also run wire from solar controller to starter battery 😊

Battery Masters work very well.

A Vanbitz battery master is easy to fit and is designed for what you are looking for, if you look at the Vanbitz website its function is explained well.

As you have solar another vote for the Vanbitz Battery Master.
You can buy it from funsters shop at I think about £65.
Only 3 wires and it is fit and forget.

As above, fitted by Vanbitz in the time it took to go for my lunch. It has worked flawlessly it keeps the starter battery at 0.5v below the leisure battery when EHU is plugged in. When its stood at home or on non-EHU site I have a foldable solar panel on the dash charging the leisure battery which in turn via the B2B tops up the starter battery.

When mine's on EHU in my drive I plug a Halfords 'intelligent' charger into a hab socket and charge the starter battery through the cig lighter socket which is permanently live. I've made up a croc clips-to-cig lighter adapter (which cost me 86p to make) so that if necessary I can still use the croc clips to connect straight on to any other battery. Been using it for abut 7 years.

13.9v is a charge voltage.
A resting voltage is 12.6v.
I would use a multimeter to verify the app is showing an accurate reading.

Is the Vanbitz battery master compatible with lithium? As I see a cheaper road pro battery maintainer isn't
