Travelling to the Dordogne or the Moselle Valley in Germany

Hi,

We are booked to cross over to Calais next week. The weather does not look brilliant in Europe for May. Is anyone in the Lot or Dordogne; or in the Moselle Valley? If so how is the weather please? A bit of sun would be good.

A quick rummage on the BBC weather app suggests forgetting Germany and going towards south west France. For example, Bordeaux doesn't look too bad.
