Apparently there is an indefinite strike by transport workers

You know those HGV Drivers and Tanker drivers

Has anyone seen or heard anything as I've found information a bit thin yet

As the economic stresses begin to bite, how long before the French start blockading the ports again?

Hi.
Haulage world wide is struggling to get drivers, majority of hauliers have cut rates to the bone, only variable to save on being the drivers wages. ONCE. ( and ONLY once ).. I was weekended away from home not being paid, mates being phoned up while getting near Calais after over a week away told put the trailer on as unaccompanied, take weekend/ your hours off we are sending a loaded trailer over for delivery at X.Costs..Update several " New " certificates at your OWN costs, just to drive the bloody thing that you have done all your life without....
Portugues drivers are away as a rule for four weeks, come home and supposed to have a week ?... off, sounds good...but.Family life ?... It used to be a super job, then it started, the spy in the cab ( Now VERY high tech) fines for this that and the other... Timed deliveries ?...............Best of luck with that one.
