Transferring from Skype to Teams

Now that Skype is to close, I have transferred to Teams.

However, I cannot find my old 'Contacts', because the old icon on Skype does not appear on Teams.

Anyone able to help, please?

If you have emailed people using Outlook, they should all be there. Teams is more integrated than Skype, so once you find your way around, you'll be fine.

When I logged into Skype and it came up with the Skype is stopping message it gave me the option as logging into Teams with my Skype account to bring everything across, or exporting the data. I did the latter as already had a 365 account and, while I can't remember the precise process, it was painless. A few duplications with one character difference, but that was it. SteveSouthCoast is correct, your Outlook contacts will appear automatically.

Thanks, but where do the contacts appear? I cannot see them.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...ams-free-313a0ecd-6d3d-4645-9db2-92762be9618a is probably easier than trying to write up the various options. I must add that by choice I use WhatsApp as being simpler and more acceptable to many than Teams. The latter is great for business use though.
