I have a rather large Badger set being excavated at the bottom of my garden. And I'd like to record the action. I've seen the trail cameras on Amazon, but the reviews on the film quality put me off. Can anyone suggest a camera setup to do this?

This is a 'rabbit hole' this one. I have a one, it's only a £40 job from Amazon. Badgers love to do recreational activities at dusk through to darkness. My camera has IR which gives IMO good black and white footage. If I was to buy another one I'd get one with Bluetooth so you can adjust the settings without touching the camera module (scent). I've seen some upto £100 with these features.
Anyway the cameras are great fun and great for vanning, stalking wildlife and security. I'll try to dig out some footage of my cheap one.

Don't waste your money on a trail cam.

Just suggest to Sian she sits on a camping chair with a video camera / mobile near by the sett and start it when they turn up.(y)

I had two Bushnell cameras many years ago and they were great but eventually died.

Replaced with a GardePro A3S which was a fraction of the price I paid a decade earlier.

Very easy to use, picture quality superb.

Victories has a good reputation, I use them ( non wildlife) around the house.
Here’s their current offerings

We have a Browning BTC-7E, the BBC use them on some of their wildlife programs. It was about £160.
If I was buying a new one I don't think I would spend that much now.

Managed to buy this one for £59.99. It says £69.99 on the website but they knocked another £10 off when I put it in my basket. Free postage.
