Hi Funsters
Our new to us MoHo has a Trackstar S5 unit installed, do I keep it and get it registered to me or get a new Vanbitz Shadow VTS system fitted,
Thoughts please
Thanks 🙏

I would just stick with the one that is already fitted if it were me.

We are with Trackstar and within seconds of disconnecting the battery in Spain the mobile rang and after the security questions they asked us whether or not we were with the vehicle and we confirmed it was at the position shown on their system. They also rang us when the battery power dropped while in a secure winter storage, so I now take the battery out and keep it topped up. I inform Trackstar when I refit the battery, and if the tracker becomes live, and I forget to tell them it's back in use, they ring us straight way. Before I started doing it this way it cost me 2 new batteries.! They ring us every year to carry out a health check while I'm with the vehicle. I'm not being paid for this comment, there are many other tracking systems available.

Good to know of your positive experience, one question do you have fobs for the Trackstar and are they for turning it on and off

Hi - No the alarm is permanently on. We dont have any fobs.

So the tracker just stays on 24/7 and only stops working if the battery is disconnected, sry for all the questions 😂
