I've just been working on a 12v security set up for home.@2v because we have standard out side meter box ( very easily opened) with a mains switch inside,so Mr Naughty, can open cupboard turn off power,no cameras,no WiFi,in our case no phone( mobile router), no security lights etc .So I'm going to put all the above on a 12v system that will kick in if power is cut...all fairly easy
So I got to thinking how hard is it to dississable ae WiFi And mobile signal?A quick Google No shortage of battery powered jammers £30 to £150.available from UK sellers.,as I 've been looking at van security including a tracker ,and these cheap bits of kit will block a phone signal surely any self respecting vehicle thief would have one,Now the question Would they render a tracker useless ? Saw a demo on TV where a small hand held one stopped a ring doorbell from working.
