Rollerteam zefiro
Hi all we have just bought our first MH rollerteam zefiro 675 and the insurance company are insisting on a tracker at the moment it has a cat 7 ? As stated on the paperwork but no other info ie wether it's 24hr monitoring or from your own devices.
If we have to have another one fitted any advice on makes and prices to fit would be much appreciated thanks all .

Are you sure it’s a cat 7 tracker or a cat 7 alarm?

There is normally a subscription for tracker monitoring which is not normally transferable to a new owner.

It's fitted with a Sargent CAT 7 tracker which they monitor 24/7. Have a chat with them, 01482678981.

You have to check whether they require active monitoring or not, ours is monitored 24/7, as in the location is constantly recorded, but if there's an issue we need to contact the company with info from the police before they can liaise with them, or something like that, can't remember the exact wording.

It says on the paperwork it's a tracker but I think we are going to have a new one fitted and monitored not sure of cost yet but will post cost and name of company who fits it .Peter.

I'm currently with NFU for a reasonably expensive motorhome. The policy doesn't require trackers or alarms.

Although I do have a tracker fitted by VanBitz.

The reason for that is they don't acept 'dodgy'areas

Rather than going to the expense of a new tracker, could'nt you ask the previous owners or dealer, what tracker is fitted, then contact the tracker company and take out a new subscrition. Thats what we done, all they required was proof of purchase receipt, with the same address to which the vehicle is registered.

Yes I have spoken to the company we bought it off to see if they have any info there getting back to me tomorrow 🤞if you don't mind me asking what's the average subs per month ?
