TOWSURE Sheffield?

Hi All,

I am looking to purchase a new Avtex TV and noticed that Towsure from Sheffield have some on offer. Has anyone had any dealings with this company before I take the plunge? I have read a few not so good reviews on them but it was a few years ago and was wondering if they have upt their game?

They are a good company to deal with, as far as I know. I used the Halesowen store a lot before it closed last year.

I bought a towbar for a 1.8D Escort Van from their shop in Sheffield in about 1990. All Good

I used their Southampton store a lot, I wasn't happy when they closed it. Got a double rear camera fitted by them. Never had any problems.

Just be aware that if you considering going to the shop on a Saturday check whether Sheffield Wednesday are at home as it will be very busy round there. Also if you are going through the centre of town in your van check if it is LEZ compliant. That includes the inner ring road coming off the Parkway from the M1.

I used to shop there regularly when the kids were young (20 years ago - so they've been around a while) and we did a lot of camping. Excellent shop and good prices.

A local outlet for us...in fact in one of our Sheffield house's they were at the bottom of our road.
I remember their first shop....bought lots of stuff from them...

Highly recommend them.

Many years ago when we had a caravan, we were looking for a towbar for a new car we had just got. Mr JNJ rang them to enquire but there wasn't one available yet to fit this particular car so they said bring it down and we will design and build one to use it as the prototype. So he drove down and left the car with them overnight while he stayed friends. Next day they had made one up and fitted it all for free. They said that was the quickest way for them to get them on the market for new car models.
