Towed the car up a damp A9 today and on arrival it was blathered in spray and salt. All the windows needed cleaning before we could drive it and it will need a really good wash as soon as we can.
We were looking for a suitable cover for the front end that would give some protection but the only one we can find only covers the bumper and lights, we really need something to cover the bonnet and windscreen as well.
Has anyone found such a thing or know were we could get one?

Car is a Citroen C1.

Thanks
Iain

You the end up with a filthy cover which won’t go through a car wash, and has to be stored somewhere, and has to be handled carefully to avoid getting any grit and crap on the outside, inside risking scratching the car next time you pull it on

This is accurate, ask me how I know. 😬 We have a toad, but no longer use a cover for the reasons Eddie gives.

If you haven't already got them, a set of decent mud flaps on the towing vehicle can work wonders.

Thank you for the replies. Obviously I had not thought this through properly and need to add new motorhome to my Xmas list for Santa and a Porsche as a stocking filler. :ROFLMAO:

I will look into having a big spray curtain fitted across the back and see if that satisfies as a solution.

I think the bonnet only version is all you could buy.
You could buy that and have an extension sown on to cover the windscreen

We have one that covers the bumper, bonnet and windscreen of our toad (a VW Up). It was supplied by LNB Towbars in Bristol at the time that they fitted our A-frame. LNB don't make them, they subcontract that to others. It might be worth a phone call to LNB to see whether they'll put you in touch with the cover makers.

When we bought it we were more concerned about stone chips than grime. Our MH's mud flaps work well but on the rare occasion that the toad's cover gets dirty it's easy to take it outside and hose it off.

I use one of those screen covers to prevent frost in the winter but it does chaff the door pillars but they are now ppf protected
The reason I use it is broken windscreen while towing

We have been towing cars for the last 15 years and in the early days I fitted a full width brush which having swept the M11 nicely and transferred all the sh!t on to the car was promptly removed again.

I also considered a "bra" but was put off by others pointing out the problems caused by grit getting on the underside.

Now I just carry a bucket and brush to remove the worst before it dries... simple & cheap.(y)
