I seem to remember, many years ago, that you were not able to Aframe and tow a 4x4 panda?

anyone know if this is still the case.

I am looking at buying a small panda for my wife to drive in winter to keep her posh car from getting pot holed and my son to use when he is home. But somewhere in my aging memory I have a feeling a 4x4 is a no go...

Hi haganap we still have a 4x4 panda not the same one as diesel not available we bought a used 2021 twin air version I was a little wry as I didn’t think it would be as good however all my concerns were unfounded. It has better ground clearance and is every bit as good as our faithful old diesel which we had for seven years.
Sadly I believe Fiat have stopped producing them.
however there are a good few miles left on ours that should see me out I think.
we are still trailering ours as A frame not worth the risk as my wife does not drive and I would be loath to have leave it on the side of the road if stopped by police.😊

haganap here is a copy from my 2021 4x4 handbook if it’s of any use.

Before things got "fancy" the rules were tow 4x4 with all four wheels on the ground is OK, never tow automatics.
