Sorry this question has probably been put on here before but I have a 2010 autotrail apache 634 an I have been looking for a company to fit an tow bar so I can tow smart car twofor anyone help please

I used Armitages Towbars earlier this year, in West Yorkshire (and yes, we drove from SW France and had it done while visiting family nearby)

:welco:

If you are running at 3500kg you may struggle with payload if you fit a towbar, the van has not got a very big payload to start with.
I would load it fully for a trip and go to a weigh bridge first.
A towbar will weigh about 50kg and it's behind the rear axle so will put more than 50kg an the axle.

I have that set up. fitted tow bar and electrics myself.
Will search out suppliers.
Manufacturers TowTrust Towbars sold through agents. TAUT1 model although it states 2011 634 Apache it will fit with a small amount of reprofiling of the locker door. I don't think they offered kit before that model year date.
I paid about £400 complete with wiring kit which is quite comprehensive.
Very pleased with the quality.
Bought at a very good discounted price still looking for details!

Sorry just noticed you dont want to self fit!
I have the electronic servo assist braking which has the benefit of a much lighter A-frame as it does not require the overrun breaking mechanism or jockey wheel. All fits into a canvas bag.stows in the boot.

After several recomendations, I had mine fitted by this guy. It rather depends where in the country you are. I drove up and stopped at a country pub the night before fitting.
Tow bars are all he does and he made a few alterations to a standard towbar for me there and then.
