Thanks for this and 1300 before the latest cock ups makes 1850 not so bad. I am based in Swindon WiltshireI would say 1300 based on two bars fitted to my last vans. That was before covid, Ukraine and Truss.
Where are you?
I have used Lnb previously for toe bars self levelling and towmaster systemsand it is them that have quoted 1850.00 but seeing what David and Sally have said I guess I am living in the past.Get a quote from LNB

What’s the towing weight being a Ford, last year I had to strike Ford based vans off my shopping list as most had towing weights between 0 and 1,000 kg, there were the occasional exception?I am about to take delivery of a new 2024 Rollerteam746 on a Ford could anyone have an idea what I should be paying to have a tow bar fitted. I am being quoted 1850 which to me sounds punchy. Any info would be greatly appreciated
First thanks for the information. The weight is 2000 kgWhat’s the towing weight being a Ford, last year I had to strike Ford based vans off my shopping list as most had towing weights between 0 and 1,000 kg, there were the occasional exception?
CONFUSED. does this mean I should be concernedInteresting the 2024 Rollerteam 746 on a Ford, GVW 3,500kgs can tow 2,000kgs giving GTW 5,500kgs meaning it can tow 250kgs more than my Ducato based Kon-Tiki 599 @ 4,250kgs GVW and 6,000kgs gtw - 1,750kgs towing.
Option for none C1 holders to buy lighter GVW van and put "stuff" in a trailer, probably not the wife and kids though.

Provided the kgs are correct for 2024 Rollerteam 746 on a Ford then nothing to be concerned about.CONFUSED. does this mean I should be concerned
Yes thanks for this it does include the chasis extensions. I am going to grow up and order it this morningAre they quoting for fitting uprated chassis extensions as well as the actual tow bar and electrics? If so the uprated extensions are about £650 to buy, tow bar prob £350ish plus electrics then I would estimate half day fitting. If the quote is just a tow bar then it does sound a lot.
Thanks for this but I have now ordered it with LnbHave you tried Ace towbars. I had one fitted there last year at a very good price. Based in West Swindon.
