We are just coming to the end of the nc 500
It is not rammed . Yes there is a little more people on the routes bikes and campers and b&b travelers ..but rammed no .we have wild camped all the way round with no problems and take trips out on our scooter ..

Just come back from 3 weeks in the Highlands. Alloa, Aviemore, Ullapool, Achilitibuie and back down the west coast. Found that any part of our journey that was on the NC500 there were lots of MHs much better south of Fort William and through Argyll. Sites all pretty full.

We didn’t see masses of motorhomes on any part of the NC although there did seem to be more bikes than normal. The only issue with traffic was getting through Largs on a sunny Saturday afternoon and two Motorhome drivers on the Applecross pass who drove at under twenty mph and were blissfully unaware they should let faster traffic past at passing places. The police instructions are clearly posted on signs along the road, blind or stupid......who knows?
