the Torbay Steam fair is July 31st to 2nd August. The beast is entered in the commercial vehical section as an exhibit. they have room for camping and are not opposed to a meet, we can get our own area if enough are interested and maybe even a reduction in the price so if interested please let me know ASAP by replying to this thread. I will be talking to the organisers again shortly.

Does no one attend steam fairs in the South? Will I be all alone, sob sob:cry::cry::cry:

What on earth do you expect when we all have seen your semi-naked body on exhibition at Carmarthen..:Rofl1:....I suppose that Kay and I could give you a bit of support !!!:thumb:
Just noticed that "The Beast" is entered in the commercial section, does that mean that you rent it out and how many buckets of coal and water does it do to the furlong ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The commercial section is right next to the camping ground, they thought it a bit large to stick with the classic cars. Look forward to emptying the grog cupboard, hee hee

As with all weekend rallies the holiday can easily be extended by a few days or more if you wish on another campsite, might even find room for you in North Devon.

Hi Wildman.

This sounds like an ideal opportunity for us newbies to have our first meet:thumb:
