Has anyone found the top secret plans for the stand layout at the NEC Motorhome show 17-22 October 23 ?

I have found a list of exhibitors and their stand numbers

But I'm unable to find a set of plans that are downloadable to say a PDF and then expandable enough so that you can actually read the stand numbers on the little stands

It would appear from the NEC published plan that only a single hall is open (although I know this is not true)
It would also appear that what they want you to do is wander aimlessly around and see what catches your fancy.

Whist aimless wandering is no doubt fairer for the stand holders, with my limited 5 hour window I don't have time (or the wallet) for aimless wandering.

I have a list of 20+ stands I want to visit, but I need a copy of the top secret downloadable map in advance so I can plan my route so as to avoid the ambush of other 'interesting stuff' enroute

There are boards in each of the halls showing the stand positions and their numbers, plus you can pick up a free show guide as you enter with a separate map with again all the stand positions and their numbers. (y)

Yes, but I'm trying to plan ahead .....

I'm sure what they want you to do is acquire the Top Secret plan, at the start and then sit down for an overpriced coffee whilst you browse all the places you want to go, which sounds wonderful.

But I have the digital clock on a countdown, so if I can plan the route I save a lot of time
(It's like getting the map for an orienteering run, before the start, which is against the rules)

Been a thread on motorbike forum UKGSER, about the huge difference in cost of visiting this show and bike show. Seems motorbike owners are truly ripped off, both on carpark and entry price.

They only give free or small parking prices on shows that have exhibitors and product stands that are paying big bucks for their pitches and stands, whereas the club type shows like the classic cars show and bike show where the clubs get a free pitch and stands, then punters pay for the lost revenue with the exorbitant car parking fees.

No one was paying for parking when we drove in 🤔
Car parking is free for MC Show as covered by the tickets & no checks until the Halls but other shows run differently.

The official map is here https://mcshow.co.uk/plan-your-visit/show-map/ & as mentioned above the paper version can be picked up free on arrival but quite a few smaller stands have shuffled but big ones should still match More detailed version in the back of the Show Guide https://mcshow.co.uk/plan-your-visit/show-guide/ too.
I was looking for paper downloadable so that I can highlight the stands I want to visit

Looks like the plans remain Top Secret before you arrive

They were checking as you leave though. I had to produce my show ticket on my phone to avoid paying ....

The MH show and Solar & Storage Live shows were sharing the same carparks when we were at the MH show yesterday and on the way out of our carpark they were asking at the exit booths as you drove out if you had been to the MH show or Solar & Storage Live show. The one that said Solar & Storage Live show were charged £17.99 whereas we were waved through and paid nought.

My mate booked the smallest (half size ?) pitch at the NEC for a mountain bike show, he needed to be able to plug an electric kettle in to demonstrate his product, he said it would have been cheaper to buy a 200 mile long extension cable and power it from his house !
They wouldn't let him use one of those gas stoves with the disposable cartridges which was his first choice.

Thanks for that, but there are actually several more halls of the smaller traders
(All part of the Top Secret plan !!)
They must be very secret then as we didn't see any more halls or traders than the 11 halls that are on the plans people have shared links to today

Been there, done that.

We took a UPS (main server Uninterruptable Power Supply) unit to a show, it could run all our screens for an entire day, put it on a trolly every night to take back to the hotel to recharge.

It annoyed the hell out of the organisers as we gave other people ideas.
The following year UPS units were banned.

Oh no, I hope you're not going to look at new motorhomes. Our motorhome really likes to have its identical twin so close by! 😊🤞

No there are just the 11 large halls. All the smaller traders are round the inside perimeters of most of the halls. Hall 1 has the biggest number of smaller traders.

I'll be looking
I'll also be buying a lottery ticket 'just in case' !!

No intention of selling out current van.
Hope it OK when the storm hits tonight !

I'll be looking at the show for a 'shower cap' cover if such a thing exists, as it takes me an hour to clean the roof enough to then actually clean the roof every time, as it gets filthy under those trees.

I see there is a vacant space next to mine at the moment, so you could move shuffle a few places up to be right next door !

Can confirm that’s the extent of the show - several interlinked halls. Plenty to look at including the Inspirations theatre / illustrated talks.
