I am just looking at instaling tomtom GO again, i used to use it and it was a great cheap option when we were in the US and Australia where data cost was high, but mainly due to the low cost for offline world map coverage.
I stopped my subscription as I was not using it due to covid, and I rarely use a GPS here in France also mobile data is cheap so Google maps has been fine for the odd occasion.
I just installed the app and it appears that the free 50miles/75km has gone as it has taken me directly to the 7 day free trial page.
And I have seen that there is now a truck and car subscription introductory offer of 49.99€/year (reduced from 99€) compaired to the normal 19.99€/year for the standard car subscription
Has anyone used the truck and car version? And is it worth the extra cost bearing in mind that the renewal will end up 5x the car only version at the standard price.
