I have an Emovis tag for Spain and have enquired with them in obtaining a French tag, they have given me the costs which includes a yearly maintenance charge.
I told them I already pay a maintenance charge for my Spainish tag, why do I have to pay again, some of their competitors have a single maintenance charge but for a multi country tag
Their response was “because it’s for a different country” end of story
Any recommendations for an alternative to Emovis please?

Fuili

France, Spain, Portugal, Italy

All with one tag.

Only pay for the months you use it. Might be an annual fee also but all costs are acceptable.

My tag for France comes direct from ATMB, which AFAIK is the same as the one Emovis supply, but it has no annual maintenance charge.

I have it linked to my Nationwide credit card as because it was direct to ATMB I couldn't set up a DD to a UK bank. Yes all the emails and the web site come in French but Google translate sorts this if your French is ropey.

It does mean we have two tags on the screen but in reality it's not a problem. One either side of the mirror.

Any recommendations for Fuili anyone?

I use Fulli in France and Spain, you just have to make sure that your nominated bank account accept SEPA payments in Euros. I opened a HSBC currency account in euros and it works okay.

Got one via Emovis and was able to, but it costs more which is annoying. Don't know about Fuilli, somebody will.

My Fulli is linked to my normal Barclays current account and has worked ok since I got it end of 22.

I have Fulli linked to a normal current account. No problems and no annual charge just a modest charge for each month you use it.

Fulli account is linked to one of our Barclays accounts... Not difficult to find the information you need to link it to your UK account.

Bip & Go needs a bank which accepts SEPA transfers. I tried with a Starling account, which it wouldn't have, and ended up using it with my NatWest Business account no issues.

It's because Nationwide are a Building Society not a bank. Banks will share your data, mutual building Societies won't.

Cheers, yes I'm aware. I have had an Emovis tag for France in the past but switched to ATMB one due to costs.
