Had my toll tag for while now and only paid monthly fee when used.
Received a email yesterday that I think says they are going to start charging monthly fees when not used.
May have to cancel after use in the new year.
Has anybody else had this and am I reading this right?

Correct, no charge per month when not in use. They have introduced a 10 euro charge if the tag is unused for 24 months.

This is what I asked:
recently received notification of your revised charges starting January 2025. Does this mean that my current toll tag agreement with you will change to these new charging terms?

This is the reply:
You are telling us about your questions following the increase in your FULLI NOMADE+ offer on January 1, 2025.

Indeed, Fulli informs you that the pricing conditions of this offer are changing. As such, the management fees will increase to €1.90.

So they are changing the terms and will charge the management fee every month whether you use it or not.

Nothing about this increase on their website here.

As of today they are still promoting the France/Spain/Portugal tag as free if not used (€10 after 24 months of no use)
I can't see how they could make such a major change to the T&C's a few weeks after the sale to anyone who bought one today.

Also, if you only use it in Spain/Portugal, I presume still zero monthly management fees ??.

What is not made clear is what happens if you use it for say one month of the year in France.

Anyone on the German equivalent of MFun ?
Given the millions of German speakers that drive twice a year across France to Spain, it must be raising a lot of discussion in the German speaking world.

yodeli

Are you aware of this situation?
As potentially if not only affects many UK motorhomes, but also hundreds of thousands (millions??) of tourists from all over northern Europe who drive to the sun via France.

Unfortunately my French is only good enough to translate a restaurant menu, and not a Frulli price list and T&C's.

Brains what you posted above is a 'new' offer.
If you already have a tag they are going to start charging monthly.

When my tour is over in march will be sending the current tag back and hope they still have an offer when I next need one.

I know it's only €2 a month but every little helps since they took my winter fuel payment away.
Not sure the battery in the current one will last much longer so a new tag when starting our next adventure.

Not sure if this is correct as from what I can see the charge is going up but only if you use the tag, for the months not used it still looks as though there is no fee. They may of course not updated their website as this still states the following

I guess time will tell as i have one and i will know from Jan as i only use it over xmas normally.

This is the way I'm reading it as well.
This has always been the situation
The question is are they deleting the line 'Unused months are free' ?

Given the majority of Fulli users will be French vehicles, the majority of whom never leave the country, I can't see them changing each on for Spain/Portugal usage.

There must also be a fair percentage of French vehicles that are only occasional users of the Fulli Tag, if they want to charge them every month they will cancel as well, as for the half dozen time a year they use it, you may as well pay at the toll in loose change.

But lets all see if we get a bill for a couple of quid in January/February.
If so, Fulli will be getting thousands of contract cancellations.

I'll make a point in future of loading up with small change and stopping the motorhome at the toll, getting out, walking around, paying in cash, asking for a receipt and the walking back and getting in and then driving off.
I'm on holiday, only Fulli should care that there is now a queue behind me.

OK but bear in mind that it will cost around £8 postage to send it back or 30 euros if you report it "lost" see their T&C's. I've just downgraded from Nomade plus and am posting back the tag tomorrow.

You may be premature.

We do not have confirmation of a monthly charge if you don't use it yet.
(And as of today, there is no mention of this on their website, in fact to the contrary the website is still claiming no charge if not used. )

Given the return/cancellation costs, I'll wait until my Fulli tag expires, which I think in next April/May, so it could cost me £10

I'd wait until at least February before you make any decisions, the worst it do is cost you price of a Pint (outside of London)

Agreed, that is the rule for newbies.
But it would appear that for existing users there 'may' be a monthly management from January.

The big question is 'Do you pay the management fee every month, even if you don't use it'

No one has yet been able to give a straight yes/no answer, as the web site says no fee if not used, but the email would 'imply' there is a monthly fee, use or no use.

Yes gus-lopez that's the latest offer for new contracts.

They responded to my query for existing contracts saying they will start charging from January.

Don't think anything was lost in translation as that is how I read the original email advising change to contract terms.

But your mail does not say "weather you use it or not"

Personally I would be very surprised if they introduce this, as they would, over the course of a few months, lose most of their occasional customers, most of whom would be rural French people and the millions of tourists who cross France every year.
It will also increase the queues at the tolls during busy periods.

i think you will find that it is lost in translation. Yes, they are increasing it to 1,90€/month.
it doesnt say they are charging for every month
So they are changing the terms and will charge the management fee every month whether you use it or not.
It doesn't say that though?
I cannot see how they can charge 'new users ' llike me for only the months used & existing users pay whether used or not. all existing would just leave & rejoin.
As I don't use toll roads but just wanted the option if needed, I won't be paying for any month I don't use it.

Just to be clear I'm only sending back the Fulli Nomade plus tag as we're unlikely to go to Italy. I have the standard Nomade tag for France, Spain and Portugal as well.

We will see in the fullness of time.

Not trying to be alarmists just passing on information from fulli that I requested/received.

Hi
Just came back from Spain, just opened MHF and have quite a few things to do , but will make proper searches ASAP
Also I didn't read the whole thread yet so don't know if you got an answer since you mentionned me!

NOPE!
Not what I read.
Scroll down until you find the yellow lines, where it is said you will pay 1,90 only the months you using it (les mois circulés)

Ok thanks.
Why bother sending hundreds if not thousands of emails if nothing is changing (rhetorical question).
We shall see.

I sum it up with this screen shot

You pay first 4,90 for you to be able to use it
Then according to the other countries a monthly payment , see how much for Italie and Portugal and in France it will be 1,90 from the 1st of january 2025.
Now , where I would say "what the heck"?? it is when they say FREE for 8 months.
So, does it mean that you pay 1,90 for eight months and the difference is your benefit , or is it really free during eight months and so your benefit over the whole year will be as if you had pay 1,90 the whole year???
I didn't check. I let you do the calculation to see if it makes sense. If it doesn't , then I'll give a call !
