Good Morning!

Hopefully the thread title has grabbed your attention!
However it’s probably not so interesting as other toilet threads. New van to us, first night on try out trip and the cassette toilet isn’t flushing. Different to one I’m used to as it has the seperate filler for the flush tank.
Visual inspection of the clear tube suggests it’s empty. Unscrewing the filler cap, it is full of water, suggesting it’s full.
Logic says it may be blocked somewhere.
Any advice on how to solve this please?
I’ve detached the tube to drain and only a few drops come out.

It’s not full, there is a sort of dam in that filler part in your photo. Just keep on very slowly pouring in water and you should see the glass tube start to fill up.

If you look at the fill pipe you've pictured you'll see that it's got a U bend design - just start filling and it'll be fine

Good Afternoon

Thanks both! All sorted now. Not being confident with tech stuff and DIY things it’s frustrating when things don’t work. This site is great for people like me who might be considered too dumb to be let loose with a motorhome!
Question answered, no one taking the Micky!

Thanks again

Glad you got it sorted so easily.

I also would not have had a clue so that's another useful piece of information stored away for possible use at a later date.

Top tip. Don't use the pink stuff in that tank. Use in spray bottle - saves water and no black slime mold next year!
