The flush on our toilet gave up the ghost a few months ago. I thought it was faulty circuitry, I got an engineer out expecting a large bill but it was an easy fix. Just close the toilet lid and lift off the lever. Now you can lift away the circuits protective cover. Just make sure the lugs on the underside of the cover are in the respective holes on the circuit.
The toilet flush varies from van to van. Some have a pump specifically for the toilet flush while others use the positive pressure of the vans water system.
May help to diagnose if you can give info on the model of the van and toilet.
I had the same problem on my new MH. Of course it was entirely my mistake. The pump for the lav requires the 'Accessory' button to be pressed on the control panel to provide power to the flushing pump. This was discovered after I checked everything else
