Like lots of others I use Aldi washing liquid (bio) and have started to use up my old Thetford Aqua Rinse Spray in the bowl. Although it says it is septic tank safe does anyone know if it is safe for the bio liquid? I’m a bit cynical about manufacturers claims.

The good bugs in a PROPER Septic tank are VERY killable, treat with care, or the drain off will not be fully treated. Handle with care, PLEASE!

Had a septic tank years ago. Never had any problems so obviously got the right cleaning stuff. However It was so long ago I have forgotten the stuff I used. Think I’ll stay with peterc10s idea.

Just remember everyone, there is a vast difference between a Septic Tank and a Cesspit. The first treats the water (with the help of little live bugs that can be easily destroyed) which is allowed back in the waterways via double tanks and soak away.
The second is just a holding tank that has to be pumped out.
Easily confused if you have never had one. 🙂
