Ah, what you can't see is the existing battery(ies) behind the metal panel on the left of the abyss. We've got 2 batteries in there so his big one should fit.Have you measured up a few times? Looks like a lot of kit and a small abyss…
The dungeon has already been renamed the wine cellar in our 138!I can't believe you'd consider giving over any of the 'dungeon' space to electrical bits though ... What are you gonna use to threaten your t'other 'alf with when they've been naughty?
In ours it's 'normal' purpose is to hide our illegal substances when traveling to the EU ... tinned meat, cartons of milk, dog food etc!The dungeon has already been renamed the wine cellar in our 138!
Funny you should say that, I’ve been staring into a void and pondering as well.Staring into the void and pondering…
I’m sure it I’ll be straight-forward enough when I actually get started on it!

That’s what we call ours in the chic c line, although it looks a little bigger than yours, we also have a small bit of insulation in there too to keep wet stuff chilledThe dungeon has already been renamed the wine cellar in our 138!
There is plenty of space ... I'll take a few pictures when I feel brave enough to actually start it.Ah, what you can't see is the existing battery(ies) behind the metal panel on the left of the abyss. We've got 2 batteries in there so his big one should fit.
Did you get all the new kit fitted? There is plenty of space ... I'll take a few pictures when I feel brave enough to actually start it.
Mostly pondering where to place the inverter in order to keep the cable runs as short as possible. I have a remote switch for it so it can be tucked away but have to be mindful of ventilation for it.
The MTTP controller is just a straight swap for the existing one as I need the Lithium profile. The B2B has a Li setting so in theory it's just a case of that and then fitting the battery and inverter.
I picked the Fogstar up from their premises in Redditch - Ben said the BMS in the battery is set to 14.4v max charge, (thou can be changed) so it should be compatible with most chargers. Hoping the the mains charger CBE 516 16A will be good enough for the occasion times I hook up. It has a bulk 14.4 and float of 13.8v. If not I'll upgrade that next.
Great majority of the time charging will be via solar and the b2b.
Yep … all fitted nicely, I lost a bit of the wine cellar for the new battery box but the inverter fitted perfectly where the original battery was located.Did you get all the new kit fitted?
