Hi all , could anyone suggest a toaster that works efficiently when used over a gas hob please ?

Ours came from go outdoors and it does a reasonable job, considering it is as cheap as chips.

Ditto, tried others but this easily best. (Although we bought from somewhere else.)
Have to move it around a bit to get the red glow/browning effect even but worth the faff according to wife.
Personally I'd go with fried bread but apparently doctor doesn't allow...

Thanks for the replies, I've tried a couple but non really worked. I'll try the suggestions as has been said , they're cheap so doesn't really matter if unsuccessful.

They work well but don't last long.
Use our Ridge Monkey now.

We use our griddle pan on the gas cooker.
Laborious but makes great toast.

Just dry fry in a frying pan. Really easy

Just buy a lithium battery for @£800 an inverter @£200 and use a 240v toaster @15 ... sorted!!

Now we have 450W of Solar, 240Ahr of LiFePo and a 2000W inverter we find the best way to make toast in the motorhome is a pop up electric toaster. Works wherever we have been.
