Possibly another of the negatives of becoming older Mo, even the insurers are now using it to increase prices...:(

Just got our best price from AIB . After getting advice from the forum.

Comfort worth a try.

Ah, the usual case of penalising loyalty. Ring them and question it.

Just got my quote for 12 plate Autotrail from Comfort, oddly my car Insurance was £7 cheaper than last year.

Definitely try the NFU, VeryOldFella. Our Winnie has been with them since we bought it new in 2010. Excellent service on the two occasions I have had to use them. A new windscreen at £5.5k and as I gently sideswiped a car, and wrote it off, as I pulled into our drive. On both occasions, just spoke to a lady on the phone, who was obviously form filling as we went along and both problems just disappeared.

I found NFU best for camper, but they couldn't give me a competitive quote for the cars, even on a multi vehicle policy seems odd, but at least happy with them for the camper insurance.

We use Caravan Guard, no one comes close to their prices for us (y)

When comparing to last year, look at the value before IPT. Insurance premium tax is the new favourite tax from the chancellor, gone up the last 2 years but frequently hidden in the falling premiums !

Another vote for AIB, same insurance with the same company but £50 cheaper.

Another vote for NFU, AIB (Will) told me I would get a return call in 15 minutes or so, I am still waiting. NFU have been very helpful and the premium was fantastic value considering the vehicle value.
