I think you are looking for something like this. Brilliant bit of kit. Unfortunately, following something we are not allowed to mention without tantrums, it is not available in the UK any more.

Fantastic bit of engineering the Motolug. And stores away in very little space. And can take a bike like mine at 400Kg +. Serously considering one.

I have used my motolug for a bike as big as an Explorer 1200 but I never did risk it with my K1600. The trailer was capable but I was never sure about how capable I was about loading it.

I used it regularly for an Xmax 300 and Tiger 800

It’s not tilting but Phoenix trailers do a folding version if that’s any use? 🤔

I have a Pheonix ( of Bridgenorth) titling trailer for my XMax 300. This is an early version, no longer produced, as now comes with Ramp. It also folds in half and stands on its end. Great piece of engineering, and Co very helpful. Only paid £125 for it, so they are out there. Maybe an E-Bay search will find one.

I have an intertrade collapsible trailer. It's the one the RAC and AA used, and extremely strong. It can go inside my car or PVC, and tow any of my bikes (big one is a Pan European at 330Kg). There are a couple of versions, mine is the earlier one without a winch. It is great, but always worrying getting a big bike up off the ground on a narrow channel, and on bigger bikes I tend to use an additional loading ramp to make the angle easier. I'll do smaller bikes (like my CCM 404 - similar to a DRZ400) on my own. The big ones I like to have someone to help stabilise it on the way up, hold it whilst being strapped/unstrapped, and spot me on the way down to be sure I'm staying on the rails as I can't see them due to the size of the bike and plastics.

I suspect OP was looking at an MSW RoRo trailer . They do come up on ebay from time to time (one sold last week).

That’s the one mofurt ! We will be moving this year to N.I., with 2 cars, moho & bike & it will make life a LOT easier. Thanks so much!

Yeah, erm, sorry. I'm going looking at the one that was advertised here tomorrow.

Sorry, missed this. Yes, it was. I was interested back in January but for various boring reasons couldn't get there with a tow vehicle to pick it up, then the ad expired. I managed to track it down last week with a bit of google-fu, and picked it up today from Alan (very nice man).

They are called RoRo trailers ( as in Ride On, Ride Off )

The firm making them closed when the owner retired but was taken over and are still somewhere around the Ipswich area
Here is their web site, check out the video !

They are REALLY good and the easiest trailer around to use
he bed goes almost flat on the floor

The originals were made in Suffolk, the ones sold from ( I believe ) a French firm, and copies.. but good copies :)
