Thule Veloslide

Morning all,

My Thule Veloslide bike rack in the garage is completely jammed and won’t slide out. It seemed the trigger mechanism isn’t disengaging from the locked position.

Anyone had this problem and can offer any advice please?

Being a bank holiday can’t get hold of Thule.

I'm m working from memory now but if you loosen the bolts holding the floor brackets it should allow enough flex in the bike rails to release the trigger mechanism.
The floor brackets might be fastened down slightly out of line and may need a spacing washer to correct the rail alignment (don't ask me how I know).

We had this, try sliding out the opposite way, it should then pull back out.

This is the disgraceful response from Thule. I’ve only had it 3 months, slid less than a dozen times and they expect you to drill holes in it!, and the what? It’s going back.
