HI all,
I just installed a Thule 10' Hideaway Awning and opened and closed it for the first time. But the handle is now stuck in the slot and i cant remove it. Im so frustrated, and have read the blogs, and online tips. Ive sprayed silicone spray in the slot, pushed the handle up, wiggled it, got onto ladder, and done everything, including talking to the tech support at THULE. Over 2 hours now messing with trying, and im ready to cut if off. PLease any advise on what to do?
THank you,
Tom

I don't have one but from this video and others it looks like they have to be pushed in and turned clockwise to release. The opposite to what you would expect in a bayonet fitting?

Sorry best I can offer. I am sure someone will be along shortly.

When I say bayonet fitting I mean like this. But I suspect by watching multiple videos it is reversed direction.
