I've been using a Three Mifi here for about 18 months on a rolling contract. But we've just had proper broadband installed, so gonna cancel with Three.

But we'll still need it for a month in summer when we drive up to the UK. Thinking of going PAYG but does that have same benefits as Feel At Home?

Yes I use Three for the mifi and get the feel at home, I buy the pre-paid data sims :)

The Three PAYG data sim's do provide 'feel at home' service for up to 60 continuous days. I always use them. I buy them and then throw away when they expire (y)

Aha. So the 60 days start when you choose?

No. The 60 days starts on the day you first connect to the network outside UK. The time period resets when you subsequently use it in UK.

I'll be starting it over here, so it starts when I first put it in the Mifi here?

Yes, that is correct. Three state that the SIM should be activated in UK but some Funsters have popped a new SIM into their mifi/dongle whilst in Spain and theirs have worked immediately.

If you are likely to exceed the 30 days trip it will probably be best to buy the 90 day/3GB sim for about £10 or less.

Did someone 'call' ????? :)

I can see I've got you lot too well trained as my 'info sheet' has already been mentioned ... I'm redundant now! :crying:

For some reason it's cheaper to buy a new SIM rather than top up one you've already got.
Correctamundo ... about half the cost of topping-up. Totally daft, but that's Three for you!
