Three dongle lifespan

i purchased and started using a 12gb mifi card last year. Am on holiday now with about 4gb left on the card but it is now one week over the anniversary. I thought they died at 12 months.

I have had a 3 month SIM which was not cut off on time. On the other hand I have had a SIM 'switched off' before the end date even though there was data allowance left but I did manage to have it re-instated using Three online chat.

How do you know how much left ?
I can never figure it out despite having the app.

What you need is the APP from Huawei, better than 3. Works a treat & if reset, when a new SIM is put in, it counts off MB used.
