Hi all - hope you don't mind me dropping in with yet another question!

My victron Digital Multi Control (DMC) no longer switches OFF my victron Multiplus 2000va. The DMC can still turn the Multiplus ON and adjust the Current Limit correctly, but it won’t turn OFF the Multiplus.

It previously worked correctly, but yesterday I added more solar panels and replaced the victron 75/15 mppt (which was wired to a shaudt electro bloc) with a victron 100/30 mppt which is wired direct to the leisure battery.

Other than disconnecting the battery, and all the ve.direct cables, nothing else has changed has far as I can tell.

I'm having to resort to using the manual switch at the bottom of the Multiplus - but it's pretty inaccessible.

Can anybody advise how to start trouble shooting this please?

update:- I disconnected and re-connected the rj45 data cable which runs between the multiples and the digital multi control, and now the controller is successfully turning the inverter on and off. So, I guess it was a dodgy connection on the data cable :)

So, one step forward, but now a different step backwards :(
The inverter no longer recognises when it's plugged into the 16amp mains supply from the house.

more investigation to come ...

Resolved, embarrassingly :(

I didn’t realise that our habitation electrics have two fused trip switches. One to isolate the 230v source coming into the ‘van, i.e. the mains source which goes into the charger side of the inverter/charger. Then another which is on the ‘other’ side of the inverter/charger and isolates the 230v outlets inside the ‘van.

I/we had turned off the incoming fuse, so simply turning it back on fixed it. Even after 5 years with this van, I keep learning about it.

I’ve now labelled the switches so it’s clear what position they need to be in for it all to work.
