We saw that about 2/3weeks ago parked outside Chino shop at La Marina, the quality of the paint job was outstandingOr one for self expressionView attachment 1043100
We watched a film last week Geoff there was a great shoot out in a saloon, is yours similar to this one?
I’m not sure there will be any difference in view when driving, when parked up there are still windows at the sides.

Agree Al, its a real quality job but very individualWe saw that about 2/3weeks ago parked outside Chino shop at La Marina, the quality of the paint job was outstanding
I can’t imagine Jon how much time and money went into it unless he did it himself or got mates rates.Agree Al, its a real quality job but very individual![]()
If I could drive it and I had a touch more brass would love it.

Thats another reason why they're better as an A ClassWhenever I see one like that I always wonder how they are going to tilt the cab?
A friend of mine was an autoelectrician. he had one similar come in for some engine work and was swearing that he had to in from the top, the front and from underneath with very poor access because they had disabled the tilt before building on it.
Have you looked at the options list for the Vario, it’s frightening, Victron 5000 Quattro inverter/charger x6 300 lithium totalling 1800 price €37,400.00 that’s more than we paid for our van. There isn't much that would persuade me to do my C test BUT
I’ve been drooling over that since it was listed! I even suggested to Mrs Westy that I should take my class 2 (that’s if I could get through the medical, I failed it when I was 21If I could drive it and I had a touch more brass would love it.

That Mega liner is a lot of van for the money the bodywork still looks immaculateI’ve been drooling over that since it was listed! I even suggested to Mrs Westy that I should take my class 2 (that’s if I could get through the medical, I failed it when I was 21)

It looks well looked after, right platform, decent lounge, but the exterior looks are a bit marmite.I’ve been drooling over that since it was listed! I even suggested to Mrs Westy that I should take my class 2 (that’s if I could get through the medical, I failed it when I was 21)

Im trying to ascertain what transmission is in it and whether it’s got a retarder/exhaust brake, Mrs Westy loves the lounge she says it reminds her of Brian’s Flairy van, she loves that vanIt looks well looked after, right platform, decent lounge, but the exterior looks are a bit marmite.
The windscreen is absolutely huge a 10 grand job
On a more serious note Martin I noticed in the 2024 Vario spec that the A class cab side windows and any glass habitation windows are tempered, insulating glass so no double glazing.
That’s a nice van Paul, it just looks a cleaner version of yours, better get the t cut outThe windscreen is absolutely huge a 10 grand job
I prefer them with much smaller screens where they don’t go as far upto the roofline and you have a decent amount of bodywork above the screen, aka this beautiful example and the good looking model with it.,

Definitely a 6 pot, 6.9l is a 6 Cylinder, 4.6l is a 4
It’s the aesthetics for me though Jon I prefer more bodywork without a huge expanse of glass.Definitely a 6 pot, 6.9l is a 6 Cylinder, 4.6l is a 4
it says auto but you would need to ask which one, could be a 5 speed ZF, or Allison ( that would be good, I would consider an Allison) I think its to early to have the TGL chassis which would be a 12 speed and more power but more elctronics as well.
I'm under the impression that they use the MAN Coach screen which ASFAIK is not as pricey as some of the others. But Ive had 3 over 19 years and they' ve only ever cost us £75

I would be surprised if it wasn’t double glazed still. On a more serious note Martin I noticed in the 2024 Vario spec that the A class cab side windows and any glass habitation windows are tempered, insulating glass so no double glazing.
That’s a big YES from me if I’ve read it correctly.
Yes it could be me and my translationI would be surprised if it wasn’t double glazed still.
