It will work like any other thread except new posts will not show up in What's new etc. To stay informed you can watch the thread. Black menu just above. That way you will be told whenever there is a post within.

We don't have a files section, but files can be posted to a dedicated thread and I can make that thread sticky if you wish so it stays visible as you add more threads. Thanks
