We have a Thetford N4000 fridge freezer in our motorhome that has been temperamental over the last few months; sometimes working fine sometimes hardly cooling at all.
We are currently in France, we’ve been on mains hook-up continuously for a week and the fridge just isn’t cooling, running at around ambient temperature of 22/23 degrees.
The freezer compartment is running at 7/8 degree.
I’ve tried switching it off, leaving for a while etc - to no avail.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks!

What is the temperature where you currently are?
Do you have any fridge fans fitted?
Have you tried running it on gas?

Thanks for replying.
The external temperature is around 22/23 degrees, same as the internal fridge temperature so it’s basically just a cupboard!
We don’t have a fridge fan, no.
Will try running on gas for a few hours and see what happens.
Cheers

If the performance of the fridge improves when on gas , it is possible that the site mains supply is lower than the AC voltage needed for its correct mains supplied operation . The fridge also needs to be nearly level for it to operate as it should. (all power sources)

Many thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I have now discovered that we do intact have winter vent covers in place… Having removed them the fridge temperature is now dropping. Hopefully sorted and our beer and white wine will stay nice and cool 🙂🙂
