Thetford Fridge - Error Code 5

First night away of 16 nights, with fridge and freezer full and the blue light on fridge started flashing at 4am and showing Error 5. Tried powering off, changing source (though no EHU).
Any ideas please?

Google says faulty gas valve or power board.

The Thetford 3 series (if that is your model) fault code 5 says DC (Battery power) heater on when should be off and to try turning off and then back on to reset (control board faulty if this does not work). It may be worth trying turning off completely and leaving it off for a while then back on to see if it resets the system back to operating on gas as expected. (or can you manually set it on to gas)

Manually setting to gas didn't work. It just still said Error Code 5. What did work was connecting up Inverter and it went on to electric after about 5 minutes, then going back to gas. Worked all day since. Must have been just a sticky component.
