Hey Gang!

I do not want to start another ‘what do you use in your toilet’ thread! (Couldn’t find an answer via search)

We’ve tried a few options, but have decided it’s Thetford Organic for us, so this is just a really specific question for folks who have used the ‘Concentrated’ version and the normal - are you happy that the performance is the same?

It would be nice to save space on the big bottles, but don’t want another failed experiment!

Thnx,
Heeb

We use Thetford concentrated but we decant it into measured single doses in small bottles obtained from E Bay. The small bottles are much easier to store than the big bottle as purchased.

However we have never tried the organic version as I don't drink it.😗

We use the Elsan (non concentrated) Green Organic stuff now. No restrictions on where we dump it (due to it being Green) and it's reasonably economical on how much you need.

We have the Thetford concentrate in the cupboard as an "emergency" supply (as we have a smaller half litre bottle of that).

We use the van a lot and get through only a single bottle of the Green stuff a year. I sense a lot of people use too much when you visit campsites. The dosing is 60ml per 10l of waste tank, so allegedly 120ml for ours. We use probably 50ml total per use, with no decrease in performance.

Ours were issued by Bluestack veterinary clinic ,Donegal town ,Donegal.
Chosen totally at random “Oh look a Vets ,let’s try in there!” To be honest I don’t think you’ll have an issue with any vet🤞
Wrong thread 👍😳😂we just use Aldi bio pods

Too late - it's a toilet thread!

Would anything "bio" mess up a septic tank? ie can I empty a cassette with some bio liquid from Aldi in it in the same places that I can with Elsan Green in it?

edit apparently it's ok to use, according to other threads on here. Search actually found something I wanted ...

We didn’t notice any difference between the Thetford organic concentrated or non concentrated so tend to buy what’s cheapest. Having said that we’ve got a load of green sachets at the moment from Newbury show when we ordered our Consort Oslo which are fine and even better in our PVC weight wise.

We did try Bio laundry tablets again with our brand new van and cassette as people go on and on about them but not for us .

I think Solbio might be the best scent wise and for digesting poo but we had a bag split in the boot so that has put us right off. It was in a bowl fortunately but messed up some other things in said bowl!

Lidl, Liquid Fromil Bio.

Works well, smells good, sensible sized bottle, readily available, with the plus factor that if you need to do some laundry that's it purpose.

We use Wessex Chemicals Blue Bio, which is actually green, but it's blue.

If you see what I mean.

A handy dosing bottle of the concentrate in the van, and a big container to refill at home.
