Thetford 138litre compressor tower fridge

Hi. Has anyone got experience of the above fridge? I’m. Looking to change vans to one that comes with the above fridge. Looking at the specifications it consumes an average of 0.46kW per 24hrs. I’m I right thinking it’s almost 40 amps a day? So two 90A leisure batteries would be luck to get 3 days off grid. The van has 100W solar and I’m not sure how much this will add in this country. I will appreciate any comments please!

Your units are all messed up!

If it’s 0.46 kWhr per day, makes more sense.

If so it’s 38 amp HOURS per day,
Ignoring any inefficiencies.

Five days on two 95 amp hour batteries, from the Thetford spec.

I have that unit, and yes, theory is 0.45 kWh/24h, but I have two 100 AH AGM batteries and 155W of solar, and it's a bit stressful in winter, because this fridge is quite power hungry.
Lithium will end that stress soon hopefully
