£36 for external blinds from this eBay seller.
Considerably less than alternatives.
Anyone bought these, or even seen them. I would prefer a longer version that complents the remis and internal version I already have.

They 'look' from the pictures to be made from the thin material that is usually used for internal ones

I would go for a used item from Silver screens, they turn up on Facebook marketing for around £45.

I bought one of the cheaper ones from the Malvern show, it only lasted one year, the silver material that was in full sun disintegrated. I now have proper silver screens and they sot on the van, when in the drive, all year around. Too bulky to travel with us.
However the bits of the old screen that did survive, both side wings, have been useful this year to provide extra deep shade tucked up between the rather papery remis blind and the plastic dome of the large heki.

I sell some good exterior screen covers at a very low price. I have used them at +35° and now at low temperatures and they stop all condensation. They perform very well

i've bought one of these.

It was sort of try this one and see how it performs and lasts. As I have just bought my first van, money was flying out left, right and centre in accessories etc. So the thought was where can, see if I can get a couple of less expensive items and if they work fine. If not then next year, when some of the funds have been replenished, then get the full strength silver screens.

Use it once in France last month and while its not a perfect fit, it was fairly decent. As other have said. Its not that thick, so not too bulky either. Am away for the weekend in a couple of weeks so will see how it performs then.

One of the other reasons was so that I didnt have to constantly open and close the cab blinds. That to me, just feel very fragile.

We have done the same for exactly the same reasons…. We’ve used it just once so far and it seems ok

Do they look as if they would last more than a fortnight?
Being thinner doesnt worry me so much as we have little storage space, no room for a ferrari in the garage (not enough room for a unicycle)

We have just changed our van from a ducato(20 plate) to an a class , have a brand new set of silver screens only fitted once to test them out now for sale. They are the deeper ones that cover the scuttle £199 new at brownhills . Going to advertise them for £120 if youre interested

Yep they do seem to be well put together.

They bloke that sells them on eBay just has them shipped in from China. Explains the very low price.
