cant seem to find anyone who has started this yet sorry if it has but this was a great show last year am looking to go this year will there be a rally this year ?
13th, 14th & 15th August 2010

Hi Carl

I'm afraid we won't be marshalling this one this year as we hope to be in the USA - we have the signed the papers for the sale of our business today and as soon as we have completed the transition time, we will be off.

But as you say, it is a good show, we have been the last couple of years and no doubt we'll be back to enjoy it once more.

Hows about you being a marshall???

mmm well i dont know about that i am only a newbie to this site less than a year i dont mind if no one lese wants to do it i would but ?? will need so advice on how and what is needed ?
ps congrats on selling the business pam and nigel feels good i bet i sold my shares end last year now chilling part time great feeling crack a big bottle
 
It's our anniversary on the Friday. Hmm I wonder if my parents would have the girls for the weekend. I'll speak to Matt and my Mum tomorrow. :thumb:
 
Yes go on claire make sure you have you cowgirl boots and matt has his cowboy hat its good fun

That was my first look at motorhomes last year. Liked it so much I went back again on the Sunday.

I will certainly be going but whether I have a MH by then is anyones guess.
 
All arranged for the girls to have a weekend with Gran and Grandad :BigGrin: but Carl did you realise this is the same weekend as the Linton Lock meet??? We've decided to book onto Linton instead because it looks very nice plus we'll be going to the Peterborough show in April.
 
Ohhh hope this one gets run would definatley want to go to it. Carol. :Smile:
 
Hi so the choice has been made and its western motorhome show for us, canx Linton Lock
So if no one wants to marshal this one i will. not sure on how i do this or book the venue i am waiting for a call back from organizers. i don't have a marque so not sure whether i am suitable for marshalling has never done this type of thing before ?

Hi Carl, sounds like this could be fun, we visited 1 day by car last year wished we had gone in mhome, will keep an eye on thread to see how to book ect.

Liz & I would be ok to marshall this one, as first time marshalls we would need all the help & advice we can get !

IE, do we have to get in touch with the organisers ect ?

Had a great time there the last 2 years

If someone wants to marshal this show please shout. Marshals normally get in free! Your duties at a show are nominal. Greeting Funsters as as they arrive and parking them up with 6m gap between motorhomes. Apart from ensuring that they know where the water is, and any fire fighting equipment etc that's about it.

PM me if you want to do it and i will send your details to the organisers who will send you your pass:thumb:

We are going to this show - it's our first time to attend this type of event. We have already booked in, as we didn't know we could go 'with a group'. Hope to see you there!
 
If Carol is going then I will have to go. Take every opportunity to meet my lovely friend. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all so far.... best funsters around. :thumb:
 
This year will be our 5th at this show. Nuff said?

If you're going to the evening entertainment in the main hall, (even though it's massive), you need to get there fairly early on to get a decent seat somewhere close to the stage. The other hall is much less of a problem.
