Hi.
Our FIAT Ducato has come with a Unit that disables the internal alarm. The main little unit fits in the dashboard and a little " fob " type unit with two small electrodes ? Is on the key ring. When leaving the m/ho,you insert the fob into the little unit on the dashboard, a Red light flashes/blinks and then goes out,you exit the vehicle and all is well.
However...Now.... The Red light on the dash unit is on ALL the time, stays on while driving. I really don't want to go taking the dashboard to pieces if there is no need, but, if i have to..... i must. Thanks in advanced for any clues.
Tea Bag.
PS. I have read about the locking of the vehicle,it seems that if i Lock the doors with the Key.. The Internal Alarm doesn't set anyway, only with the remotes for the doors . True ? Is that a get around.
