It would have been if the photo was the Beamer next door :) I take it you dont deliver takeaway with that backbox.

Lot of time on designing the paintwork.

Really!!

Don't think we would have the same tast in women either :)

Something a little more racy for me!! :)

Got a sports bike for sports things..Got trail bike for trail things ( actually II aint at the moment cos I just sold the Greeves, but I will have again shortly ) so this fills the spot for laid back continent hop type riding ( which I seem to do more of than anything else nowadays )

You cant beat a blatt to sunny hunny on a dry winters day!(y)

I rode a year old Triumph Tiger in the Sth of France this summer.:D

To be honest I am still of two minds..
So far I have quite like the bike, but all the time is the nagging doubt I have done it wrong.. My dealings with Triumph have, so far, left me with the feeling it is a tinpot penny pinching firm, and I worry the thing is gonna fall apart in the not too distant future because of it

I have a 2012 Explorer which I have owned for 3 years, it is used all year round, has 43k on the clock and apart from liberal doses of acf50 is not polished regularly. My pal has a Honda Crosstourer and apart from less miles is looked after in the same casual manner.

The Honda has far more surface corrosion and rusty fittings than my Triumph, my opinion is that the build qaulity on the Triumph is far better.

I have to say that I am a big Honda fan having owned them for 14 years, current Honda is one of the new Africa Twins.

Are your problems with the bike or the dealer ? Like dealers of any kind there are some bad'uns out there. I was most impressed with my one encounter with Triumph head office.

I was the first specific bike firm to sell ACF.. And Corrosion Block grease..
It is recommended a coat with a thickness of just ten microns be used :-)
They say using any more is just a waste.
Considering what it was made for and by who, I tend to believe the maker LOL!!

Great product Jaws !

Use it on the bikes, lawn mower, cars and the motorhome, apply with a commercial spray gun. Never measure - just slap it on !! (y)

A friend picked his brand new 800 up this morning. This afternoon posted this on facebook.

"Only had the new triumph tiger for a couple of hours and it's had to go back into the workshop."

Sounds as though the PDI department need a good talking to.

I hope the problems are minor and that he soon starts to enjoy his new bike.

Shame that. Seems that Triumph are the same as 40 years ago
